The holiday parties will have come and gone, but one thing that will remain are all those returnables in your garage or shed!!
It may be cold outside, but it's time for our January Can & Bottle Drive on January 9th!! Barring a blizzard or freezing rain, we'll be collecting your returnables from 8:30 am until 12 noon!
If the weather does turn out to be frightful, check the Church News Page for the reschedule date. Hopefully, Jack Frost will play nicely so we can do some nice work!
Every can and bottle adds up and those funds go so far as this is one of the few events where there are minimal expenses to offset your donation and more funds can be directed towards our missions in our community, our state, our country and our world!
We have pledged our support to:
- Covenant to Care for Youth program via the Department of Children & Family Services
- The United Church of Christ and their larger missions nationally and worldwide
- Monthly Soup Kitchen in Bristol
- Youth Group and Christian Education programs
- And support of many people in our community who are in times of need through our Good Samaritan Fund
To make this happen, we need to raise funds and WE NEED YOU! We hope to see you at our events and if you are looking for a place of great Fellowship and Support, we invite you to join us for 10 am Sunday Service, Rev. Taylor is worth a listen!
