A New Season Begins

Grant Proposals are Due December 31!

Now in its third year, the EMACT Member Assistance Grant  was created to help EMACT's member groups improve the theatre experience in their venues. The EMACT Member Assistance Grant a wards up to three grants of up to $1,000 to member companies in good standing who have a financial need to invest in facilities or equipment that will enhance the audience member's theater experience.  It could be seating, lighting, sound, or any "creature comfort", provided that the investment benefits the long-term well-being of the member. Grants will be awarded annually. The application deadline for this year's grant cycle is December 31, 2015. DASH Program Update

So far, the DASH program has received requests to review 74 productions - and it's only October!  The DASH Plus program has been a great success, with over a third of the shows asking for a DASH Plus review.
Remember, we must receive your request for a DASH review before the production opens,preferably one month prior to the show opening. We have a limited number of consultants and many demands for our services, so the more time we have to schedule consultants, the better! It's Time to Renew your EMACT Membership!

As a matter of fact it is past time! The EMACT season runs from July 1st to June 30th. Your group may still appear on the EMACT website and the website directory but it will disappear if you don't pay your dues! Your group must be a member to participate in the DASH program.

 

We no longer offer the Individual Member option. Group memberships are still at two levels, Basic and Enhanced Memberships.  Please visit the EMACT website for details on membership options and a renewal form.
