2015 has been great and we are looking forward to a fantastic 2016!
WOW!  We have done many great things in 2015 - see our accomplishments below!

What an amazing year 2015 has been for Furnishing Dignity!  With the support of family, friends, and benevolent strangers, we have accomplished a great deal with our start-up resources.  You, our donors, have been very generous with your furnishings, housewares and financial support.  As a result of your generosity, we had to move into a larger storage facility and are currently looking for warehouse space.  We have gone from a few volunteers to many - including many students with Alpha Kappa Psi and Epsilon Sigma Rho fraternities at ASU.  Since we helped our first family in July, we have helped 17 individuals and families: 
  • 8 single moms with 25 children 
  • 1 single dad with 6 children
  • 2 individual men
  • 1 young adult aging out of foster care
  • 5 families with 15 children.

 

We are proud to have helped these individuals and families with the furnishings needed to transform their house into a home.  We hope we can count on your support as we expand our Dignity (nonprofit) Partners and try to help more of those in need.

Lykins and Lykins Properties - By allowing us to use their moving truck, Will and Stacey Lykins have saved Furnishing Dignity over $1,100.  We can't thank them enough and we look forward to continuing our partnership in 2016!









Gammaville, LLC -   
By providing very generous financial support, Lois Flynn, General Manager, has helped Furnishing Dignity accomplish our mission.  With Gammaville's generous financial support, we provided over 60 new mattresses to our clients and their children.  



Get Your Move On LLC - By providing his mover's time, talent, and truck to help with our client moves, Derek Greene has saved Furnishing Dignity over $2,100.  Thanks a million and we look forward to continuing our partnership in 2016!









Terri's Consign and Design - While we just partnered with Terri Bowersock in December, she has been very giving in this short amount of time.  She has helped Furnishing Dignity save money on the purchase of our mattresses - this is our largest expense as we provide new mattresses to our clients.  Terri has also donated excess furniture to us and is allowing us to store our furniture overstock at her warehouse.  Thank you Terri!





 

We are very blessed to have the support of two Realtors - Gina Anderson, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and Kim and Henry Helfenbein, Re/Max Infinity. We have received many referrals of gently used furniture and household items from them.  Thank you for helping us to fill our storage unit!

We have partnered with some terrific non-profits in the area who are working to help those in crises and/or homelessness to become self-sufficient. 

Furnishing Dignity is looking forward to continuing our partnership with these wonderful organizations in 2016.

to all of our volunteers! We couldn't have provided our clients with their furniture and household items without you!  You have helped us pick up donations, organize the storage unit, load, unload, and move the furniture into our clients homes, and helped assemble furniture.
