IN THE WORKS

Join the Trinity Choir for an Evening of Entertainment!

Trinity Episcopal Church has a long history of fine music in our services, and we want to continue this tradition.

Our outstanding choral scholars have always been an important part of the Trinity Choir. Our scholarship funds are frequently the final, crucial factor in making it possible for these talented students to afford the cost of their studies at Columbus State University.

For many years now, this program has been generously funded by one source, and that arrangement is in need of change at this time. As someone who appreciates good music, we are hoping that you will be willing to assist us in this endeavor.

We are planning a Gala Dinner Theater as a fundraiser, featuring a seated dinner with a special menu, wines, and an after-dinner floorshow with the members of the choir presenting musical selections from Broadway and Hollywood musicals and other mediums.

There are several ways to support this event:

1. Purchase individual tickets @ $25.00 per person

2. Purchase a table of 8 for a donation of $300.00

3. Make a contribution of $1,000.00, which included a table of 8 and a private performance of 20-30 minutes of music for any sort of special event that you may have coming up in your family or business (birthday, anniversary, holiday party, etc.)

4. Sponsor a Choir Scholar for a year through a donation of $3,000.00, which could be funded by a group, rather than an individual

5. Be an Event Sponsor with a donation of $5,000.00, in honor or memory of a family member or friend, including 2 tables of 8 for the dinner theater and the private choir performance at a special event of your choice

AROUND THE PARISH

Children's Offering Update

For well over a year now Trinity's kids have been taking up their own offering from the other kids - and some "big kids" at heart. They alternate monthly between InReach projects for our church and outreach projects for our community.

Throughout the month of March the children collected money to purchase tools that they needed to make their Tots & Tunes and Music Makers classes even more fun and engaging.

During the month of April the children will collect funds allowing them to provide the church flowers on Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Memorial Day. This is a great way for the children to give back to their church, and they love having a hand in picking out the flowers!

Be sure to provide chances for your kids or grandchildren to earn a few bucks during the week so they can proudly give back. Thank you for your dedication and continued support of this ministry!

Do you have an itchy shutter finger? We do, too! If you are on Instagram check out the hashtag #trinityepiscolga . Folks like Fr. Tim (@tgdaddy) and his wife Deana (@deanamg) along with others on Trinity's staff find plenty of photo inspiration around the church. If you take a picture on your smartphone or tablet while you're at the church (or a church function away from church!) and are on Instagram, be sure to tag the photo with the hashtag shown above. Flower Memorials & Thanksgivings
Our Flower Guild is dedicated to glorifying God's beauty each Sunday and throughout the week by preparing our altar flowers and greenery. The ladies on our four alternating teams work very hard at arranging the flowers and greenery and they do it with such care. They are truly a blessed and talented bunch making the most creative and simply stunning arrangements.

If you would like to provide flowers on a Sunday as a memorial for someone or in thanksgiving, please contact Sally Walden at (706) 327-7212 or email her here for information on pricing per altar and dates available.
