City Council and Mayoral Candidates Forum

Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs
( ONE-PS) and the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring a City Council and Mayoral Candidates Forum on October 14 at the Jewish Community Center on Alejo Road. The Forum will be moderated by award-winning journalist Hank Plante and shown live on KMIR. The Forum will be from

6:00pm to 8:00p.m.,

but because of the live TV broadcast, audience members will need to be seated by 5:30 p.m.

Hank Plante, as the moderator, has the final say on what questions are asked and how they are phrased. Hank will consult with a group of

ONE-PS and Chamber volunteers to review the potential questions. No one who is a candidate, working for a candidate, endorsing a candidate or donating to a candidate will be involved in reviewing the questions or in preparing the questions for the Forum. The questions will not be made known to the candidates before the Forum.
