The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) has now received sufficient reservations to use all the funding made available for the 2015 Take Credit Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) Program and is no longer accepting new reservations.

  

All active reservations in the pipeline will continue to be processed in accordance with the Program Guide. MCCs will be issued for all borrowers with an active reservation as long as they meet all submission requirements and are determined eligible by IFA.

  

Thanks to a tremendous effort by our lending partners, the 2015 Take Credit Program will provide more than 400 new home buyers a valuable federal income tax credit of up to $2,000 per year for up to 30 years.

  

Through the Take Credit Program alone, we have helped make homeownership more affordable than ever for more than 1,900 home buyers since 2013. This is an accomplishment worth celebrating and we thank all our partners for making it possible.
