November Prayer
b
y Ms. Katie Higgins '99, Theology Teacher
"Always and everywhere you can become a saint, that is,
by being receptive to the grace that is working in us and leads us to holiness."
Holy God,
Shatter our illusions of sainthood
as unreachable, as removed, as beyond us.
Always and everywhere, you provide all that is needed.
Open the doors of our hearts that we might receive the gift of your grace
and so be transformed into the saints you call us to be,
living our ordinary and holy lives
with faithfulness,
with compassion,
with hope.
Amen.
You are also invited to see the November
Reflection by Sister Helen Jean.

Note from the President ...
Throughout much of history, November has been thought of as a somber month, as it signaled the start of winter.
Folks spent the month storing their harvests and preparing their homes for the cold and snow. November at Magnificat, however, is anything but bleak!
