Street's Hope January eNews
Happy New Year!

Dear Street's Hope Supporters,

We hope your holiday season was full of meaningful moments, delicious food, and fun memories. Our Street's Hope ladies had a wonderful Christmas this year, thanks to our generous donors:
  • Thrive Church Parker covered all Holiday meals for the women (and even a NYE Movie Night!)
  • Bear Valley Church Women's Group generously provided all of the Christmas Gifts for the residents and overnight staff!
  • Over the Coffee Cup Small Group put together some fun and festive holiday stockings for each of the ladies!
The fact that it is already 2016 is pretty amazing. Last year was chock-full for our residents and staff; we are so grateful for all the many things we accomplished together (check out our newsletter below to read more)!

Last week, on social media, you may have seen people posting a photo collage of nine photos containing their best photos posted in 2015 (based on "likes") using the hashtag #2015bestnine. We  made a #2015bestnine collage to share with you all!

This collage brings a smile to our face as it reminds us of just a few of last year's memorable moments: the container project, our annual fundraiser, collecting invaluable donations and following our Exec. Director, Nina, around for the day, and seeing several residents graduate.  2016 has some big shoes to fill and we look forward to experiencing this year with you all!

Wishing you peace and joy in the new year!

Fond Farewell to Board Member, Judy Henson!

We will soon  say farewell to Judy Henson, a member on our Boar d of  Directors  for the past several years . We are exceedingly grateful for her visionary, humble  leadership over the years, as she served as our Board Chair, a mentor for our graduates and a strong community advocate of our work! Her contributions are too numerous to list here, but she and her late husband, Dr. David Henson leave behind an incredible legacy with  Street's Hope.  By assisting the organization in some of its most challenging periods of growth and development, Judy and David both laid a strong foundation for Street's Hope to move into a bold future. Judy, y ou have been a blessing to the ministry and everyone involved.  From the bottom of our HEART, thank you for your years of volunteer service to Street's Hope.  We wish you every success in your future and we are blessed that you will remain a Street's Hope supporter for years to come!
New on the Blog!
"She was a mother, a prostitute, a drug addict, homeless, and a victim or domestic violence. I remember sitting in our office, reviewing her file when I read the first sentence of her life story..."
