JVS NEWS: JANUARY 2016
BRIDGES TO COLLEGE CELEBRATES 60 GRADUATES
Speaker DeLeo featured at graduation ceremony

In December we celebrated 60 graduates from our Bridges to College Program. We also welcomed House Speaker Robert DeLeo, who congratulated these graduates and affirmed the work Bridges is doing both for adult education and the economy. The graduates will continue their studies at Bunker Hill Community College or Quincy College. Read more about the graduation in State House News.

At the ceremony, each graduate received a backpack stuffed with school supplies and congratulatory notes, which were assembled by over 40 volunteers at our second Family Philanthropy Day. Families came together to learn about the accomplishments of the Bridges graduates and then spent time creating cards, stuffing backpacks and enjoying a much deserved snack!
