Dear YWCA Toronto Supporter,

$19,200. That's how much you will pay a year for child care in Toronto. At the same time, the average income for women in Toronto is $32,000. And there are 16,802 children on the waiting list for subsidized child care.

Join YWCA Toronto in supporting Vote Child Care, a call to the next federal government to provide funding and leadership, to work with provinces, territories and Indigenous communities to make affordable quality child care a reality for all families.

Women need affordable child care so they can participate equally in the labour force, pursue career advancement, and build strong economic futures for their families. Join us in making child care a prominent issue across Canada in the upcoming election.

Send this email to 10+ of your family members, friends, networks and organizations across Canada, and ask them to join the movement.

Use Facebook or Twitter to boost the signal.  It's time to talk about child care.
