Sarah Painter
Get to know Sarah:
- Sarah is a sophomore at the Adventist University of Health Sciences studying Nuclear Medicine.
- Her hobbies include Music, Sports, and Cooking.
- She is actively involved in the Sound Team, Family Life, and Young Adult ministries at Spring Meadows SDA Church.
- When Sarah hears the phrase 'Life on Fire,' she says, "I imagine being so consumed by Jesus and His love, that people notice a difference in you that is contagious. You shift from focusing on your wants and needs, to focusing on others, and you become someone people trust and want to be around. To life a Life on Fire is to live a life like Jesus."

Newsletter Updates - Changes for 2016
NAME
The Florida Conference Youth Ministries Weekly Update will change its name to the FCYM Update (Florida Conference Youth Ministries Update), beginning with the next issue.
SCHEDULE
Our Updates will change from being sent weekly, to being sent out bi-weekly. You can expect to receive the FCYM Update every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.
On the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, you will receive a visual newsletter, previously known as the FYI.
There will not be an Update or Visual Newsletter sent out on any 5th Thursday of a month.

New Drum Ribbon Bar
|
|
Pathfinders - Trade in your old Drum Ribbon Bars for a new bar at no cost. Either bring in your old drum ribbon bar to the office, or to any Area Youth Council meeting, and we will exchange your old bar with a new one.
Why a new bar? We have unknowingly been using a ribbon bar that the military currently uses. Our Pathfinder Uniform policy is not to use any military insignia on our uniforms.
Please immediately remove your current Drum Ribbon Bar from your uniform, and turn it into the Conference Office.
This free Drum Ribbon Bar exchange offer is good until the end of March. The last day to exchange for free is Thursday, March 31, 2016. Beginning on April 1st, we will still collect your old Drum Ribbon Bars, but you will need to pay for the new one.

Pathfinders - Mark your Calendars
DRILL TRAINING
Drill Training weekends include drilling, worshiping, and camping. These workshops are for Drill Masters, Drill Captains, Club Directors, and Master Guides in training.
