BCPS ONE
PROFESSIONAL LEARNING SYSTEM

The Professional Learning System in BCPS One is now live. Staff can now access the Online Registration System and the system-wide Professional Learning Calendar through BCPS One. In addition, professional resources can be accessed through the Professional Learning System in BCPS One including the ASCD Education Bookshelf, The Baltimore Sun, and ProQuest Education Journals.
Effective Friday, January 29, 2016, all BCPS employees will need to access the Online Registration System through BCPS One. Employees must first log in to BCPS One at
https://bcpsone.bcps.org. At the "Welcome" page, click on the Professional Learning ladder button; then on the Professional Learning page, click on the Registration System button; and finally on the Online Registration System page, enter your email and password.
Single sign-on for the Online Registration System housed in BCPS One will be available August 2016. The attached directions include screen shots to assist with registration.

GRADE REPORTING
QUARTER 2 ENDS FRIDAY, JANUARY 15, 2016

On the evening of Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 5 p.m. quarter 2 grades will be pulled from BCPS One and posted in STARS for Grade 3 through 12.
Grades, performance factors, comments, effort codes and domain subject codes entered in STARS manually prior to that time, will not be overwritten.
Teachers are reminded that prior to the grade reporting deadline, 1) all grades posted to STARS should be reviewed for accuracy, and 2) corrections to quarter grades should be made in STARS as needed.
The grade reporting deadline for secondary school teachers is Monday, January 25, 2016, at 9 a.m.
The grade reporting deadline for elementary school teachers is determined by the principal.
