Breads
of the World
for
World Communion Sunday
~

To celebrate World Communion Sunday we will participate in the Liturgy of Breads featuring breads representing people from around the world. After we offer prayers for people on every continent, you can partake of communion using any, or several, of the varied breads consecrated for this special service. As usual Gathering Music begins at 10:30 a.m. and the Liturgy begins at 10:45 a.m.  See you on Sunday!

Second Sunday Potluck
with St. John's

Mark your calendar to be sure you'll be here next Sunday, October 11, as members of St. John's UCC join us for our worship service in Zion's sanctuary in an expression of our continuing partnership. Pastor Bob will be preaching.
Following the service, you'll enjoy lunch with members of St. John's in our Fellowship Hall. Bring a covered dish or dessert to share. You'll enjoy this feast and fellowship with members, friends and guests of Zion's and St. John's!

Help us Help the Food Bank !

On the fourth Sunday of every month we are collecting food items for the Allentown Ecumenical Food Bank. The Food Bank's greatest need at this time is for soup, cereal and peanut butter. Of course they will also accept any other food donations you are able to give.
There will be a box in the foyer for you to place your donations or you may drop them off at the church office. Thank you!
The Alley
is
Open!

The scaffolding was removed from the Church Street Alley, so you once again can access the parking lot next to our church building from Hamilton Street by turning right onto Church Street, then left onto Maple Street (behind the church building) and then left into the lot. We do try to reserve parking in this for those of our members who have difficulty walking up the alley from the Gross McGinley lot.

Be sure to enter the Gross McGinley (Crown Tower) lot by way of 7th Street.  DO NOT attempt to enter the lot through the Church Street alley!

Watch for the blue Liberty Bell Church Parking sign at the entrance to the lot on the north side of their building (pictured here).  Thank you to Dave Dettra for his service as our volunteer parking lot attendant!

NOTE: Depending on the time you arrive, the sign may be at the lot on the south side of the building!

Remember, too, that street parking is available both on Hamilton and Seventh Streets.

If you need assistance with parking, please call the church office (610-435-2412).
