Santa Clara's Hotel Occupancy Breaks Record, up to 85% in April
Hotel rooms in the city of Santa Clara were in demand in April, 2016 when the city saw hotel occupancy rise to 85% (compared to 82% previous April). The percentage is significantly ahead of the national hotel occupancy average of 66% (Statista.com).
The Santa Clara Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has been very aggressive this past year getting the word out about all there is to see and do in the city. "Our staff has worked hard both before and after the Super Bowl to make sure the Santa Clara brand is out there to both visitors and prospective meeting and event planners," says Lisa Moreno, general manager & CEO of the Santa Clara Convention Center & Convention and Visitors Bureau. "More people than ever before now know where Santa Clara is on the map," says Moreno.
