This week we ready our hearts and hands for Hosanna's involvement with Feed My Starving Children and the Million Meal MobilePack at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview. The packing dates are April 27- May 1.
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and FMSC ships these meals to distribution partners. FMSC meals have reached nearly 70 countries around the world.
Did you know:
- Each MannaPack Meal costs 22 cents to produce.
- Volunteers hand-pack all the meals.
- More than half of all volunteers are under the age of 18 years old.
- In 2014, nearly 900,000 volunteers joined FMSC to package more than 229,000,000 meals for children around the world.
- FMSC is 100% donor funded. For over 10 years, FMSC has devoted more than 92% of total donations to feed hungry children.

5th Annual Green Earth Team
Plant Sale Now through May 3.
Plants will be available for pickup on Sat. and Sun., May 9 & 10. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase something for your favorite females on Mother's Day, and also to get your flowers and plants for the warmer months! The GET thanks you for your continued support, as proceeds from plant sales have helped us purchase recycling containers, coffee mugs, rain garden items, mulch, and many other useful items for Hosanna.

Gardens & Grounds
THIS SATURDAY, April 25 8am-noon
Can you spare a couple hours to help beautify and care for Hosanna's grounds? Bring your gloves, rakes, pruning tools, etc. and help us clean up Hosanna's gardens & grounds in preparation for spring & summer. A couple wheelbarrows would come in handy, too.

Adopt A Garden
Consider pitching in this summer to help keep Hosanna's gardens looking good Last year many wonderful individuals and families signed up to keep one small part of Hosanna's gardens beautiful. You can do it on their own time throughout the growing season. Tasks include weeding, and deadheading flowers. Sign-up sheet available at Plant Sale table on Sundays through May 3rd or at the Welcome Desk.

Youth Events & Opportunities
Luther Dell Camp - July 19-24 - Cost $390
* Youth Camp (have completed grades 4-8) It's more than a just a drive down a 5-mile dirt road...so much more than a lake, a campfire, and a carpetball table. It's a place to be a kid and be with friends. It's a place to open your eyes and look for Jesus all around you. It's a place to be washed over with wonder when you take a break from sprinting around the game fields and slow down long enough to catch a glimpse of God with your heart. Join us for a week where you and your friends can grow together as friends and in faith. We are a relational program that spends time getting to know each camper. We have a week-long competition called Luther Dell Olympics and play an all-camp game during the evening. By the end of the week, you won't want to leave!
* Roots Camp (have completed grades 9-12) As senior high students, you are facing the challenges of high school and preparing for what is next in your lives. This is your chance to explore where your heart is rooted. The Roots program is designed to give you opportunity to grow in faith through leading worship, service to camp and service to the local community and is full of games, food, and beautiful sunsets. Camp is a great place to grow in your faith.

Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
Hosanna's Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) is a monthly gathering of mature folks who enjoy socializing with fun, interesting people and sharing a meal together. We typically meet on the first
Thursday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday, then we meet a week later) for lunch. We alternate the location - one month at an area restaurant and the following month at church. Our primary goal is to enjoy each other's company, laugh and establish enduring friendships.

Yogadevotion
Yogadevotion, now in its 10
th year in Forest Lake, will begin a new session on Saturday,
April 25
th, at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail North, Forest Lake.
Yogadevotion promotes strength, flexibility and peace in body, mind and spirit through we
ekly Saturday morning devotional sessions. Carrin Mahmood, certified and experienced Yogadevotional instructor, leads the hour-long sessions. Women and men of all ages are invited to participate and enjoy this meditation time while enjoying the benefits of
yoga. No previous experience needed, basic yoga will be
taught.
The 6-week session will run through Saturday, May 30
