LOCAL INSURANCE INDUSTRY SUPPORTS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL 

Insuring The Children (ITC), the charity supported by the local insurance industry fighting child abuse was one of the top fundraising teams at Cincinnati Children's Hospital's (CCHMC) Walk For Kids at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden on September 26, 2015. The team raised $30,633 for CCHMC's Mayerson Center for Safe and Healthy Children. To date ITC has awarded grants totaling almost $1,900,000 to local social and medical agencies treating and fighting child abuse. Thank you for this outstanding effort.   More information.

Frank Back, a business and finance teacher at Lebanon High School (Lebanon) is the 2015 Ohio Insurance Educator of the Year by the Ohio Insurance Institute (OII). He was recently honored at the OII awards banquet in Westfield Center.

The subcontractor's commercial general liability insurer brought an action for declaratory relief against the general contractor, claiming that the insurer did not owe the general contractor a duty to defend as an additional insured in a construction negligence lawsuit.  Read more
