housemanagerDoes a patron have a special need or request?
A patron needs to be met with a wheelchair when she comes to the theatre. Another is a special VIP you want to lavish with attention and a bouquet of flowers.

How do you keep track of special needs, requests or visitors?

For in-house sales, Wintix has a valuable tool called a House Manager Alert. A clerk can record a note during a sale, then you can run a report to ensure you don't forget anything - or anyone - important.

Learn more about House Manager alerts and reports.

For online sales, patrons can put their request in a "Remarks" field when they buy through Webtix. It's easy to run a report to see what they need.

graphicsMake your Webtix more engaging by adding graphics, show and performance information

It's simple to add some pizzazz to your Webtix page! Get your patrons excited to buy tickets with eye-catching graphics and important descriptions and information.

You can add text that will display for all shows or for a particular performance.

record2Record in use or record locked

When doing sales in-house or editing a show, you may get a "record in use" message. Here are possible scenarios and fixes:
  • If you are using more than one computer on the network and someone else is in the sale or show, they are going to get that message. All users on the network must get out of that record to free it up.
  • There may be more than one copy of the Wintix program opened. If that is the case, close the programs leaving only one Wintix opened.
  • If the first two fixes do not free up the transaction, then all users should be instructed to exit the program and reboot the server.  This should unlock the record.
  • Here's another way to unlock records. Go to Help | About Wintix. Right click within the gray address area and a button "Bypass record locking" will appear. Click it.
  • If the record remains locked, please email [email protected] or call 831-920-1254.
