As we head into another Thanksgiving and Holiday season, the CINE family is reminded of how far we have come -- thanks to you.

Starting in 1957 as an accreditation for American films to play overseas festivals, the honor has changed over the years, and was recently refocused to emphasize what matters most -- great storytelling and emerging talent.

Our 58th CINE Golden Eagle Award recipients reflected this new focus, honoring amazing productions like  A Most Violent Year Hannibal , Morgan Spurlock's  Inside Man and  We The Economy,  Life Itself,   The Overnighters , and some of the most creative student and independent work that we've ever received.

The Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Contest, while only in its third year, saw over 500 composers from 50 countries participate.

This past month, CINE Celebrates events in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC honored not only the winners and finalists of this year's Golden Eagle Awards -- but connected students and emerging media makers to industry stalwarts and legends.

By connecting the past to the future, CINE hopes to strengthen our entire industry -- from webisodes and viral content, to watercooler broadcast series, to major motion pictures.

Please consider a small donation to help our efforts to bring new talent to the forefront -- and to honor the incredible talent already realizing their dreams. Even a small donation can offset the cost for a student to attend a pitch session.

We wish you a happy, healthy
and thankful holiday season.
