 RU-Camden Dedicates Landmark City Building as Writers House 
RU-Camden Chancellor Phoebe Haddon and Rutgers University President Bob Barchi, realizing a dream years in the making, dedicated 305 Cooper Street in Camden as the Writers House at Rutgers University-Camden, officially opening a new chapter for this historic structure. The Writers House will now serve as home to both RU-Camden's Department of English and the master of fine arts (MFA) program in creative writing. Read more here.
 
RU-Newark Restores 15 Washington Street to Former Glory
 
RU-Newark Chancellor Nancy Cantor and Rutgers University President Bob Barchi presided over the re-opening of 15 Washington Street, closing a 15-year chapter in its history and signaling a new era of resilience and opportunity. Its cavernous Great Hall was filled by hundreds as the venue for a joyous celebration at RU-Newark. As the S.I. Newhouse Center for Law and Justice from 1979 to 2000, it sat unused since the Rutgers Center for Law and Justice was built. Read more here.
