Sidewalk Snow Removal
This weekend the weather should warm up and we need to make sure our sidewalks are accessible to students walking to and from school next week.

The record breaking snow storm has made many sidewalks inaccessible.  This is a problem county wide but at this point we must get out and clear the sidewalks as best as possible for the safety of those who need to walk on them.

Residents are responsible to clear the sidewalks that abut your property both in front and on the side if you have a corner lot.  IF possible, please clear a path from the sidewalk to the street, near or close to intersections. We understand that there are mounds of snow but hope there is some safe location to clear a path.

Most of you know that this is a county law.  But for those who don't sidewalks must be cleared within 48 hours after the snow has stopped falling.  The 48 hours has passed, the weather should warm up, and this weekend will be the best time to clear the sidewalks.

Thanks for doing your part and being a good neighbor.  If major problems remain the County WILL enforce the sidewalk clearing code and residents can call the Police Non- Emergency Number, 410-313-2200, to report the address of properties that have not cleared the sidewalks.  Please try to give your neighbors the weekend to get this done!
