Fixing leaks saves water and money
Fixing leaky toilets or faucets is the easiest, and least expensive way to conserve water around your home. A dripping faucet can waste 20 gallons of water a day, and a leaky toilet can waste 90,000 gallons of water in one month alone. Keeping your existing appliances well maintained is the easiest way to start conserving water.
To find out if you have a leaky toilet, visit the Centennial Water customer service counter and pick up a dye tablet. Place the dye in the tank of your toilet; if the color appears in the toilet bowl then you have a leaky toilet.
Centennial Water customer service is located at 62 W. Plaza Dr. in Highlands Ranch.
