Annual Campaign
Erev Rosh Hashanah marked the beginning of our Annual Campaign.  So far, we have had 107 contributions to the Annual Campaign!   All gifts to the Annual Campaign at any level will be recognized in Connections and make a difference in the lives of your fellow congregants. These brief services geared for preschool aged children are led by Rabbi Dana Magat and Cantor Meeka Simerly and include blessings, songs, stories, and prayers in the sanctuary. Thanks to the generosity of our Sisterhood group,    a delicious, complimentary dinner is served after the service.

Sisterhood Holiday Fair
Sunday, November 22 at 10:30 AM
Join Sisterhood for all your holiday shopping needs!  There will be kids crafts, cookie decorating, a bake sale, and a jump house for the kids.  Entrance to the Fair is FREE.

Lunch is provided by Temple Emanu-El Senior Youth Group with all proceeds benefiting EESY.

Participation in the kid's activities is $5 at the door or FREE with $10 boutique purchase.

1st Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Join different faith communities and leaders from around the Bay Area for the 1st Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service held at Stone Church of Willow Glen ( 1108 Clark Way, San Jose).  Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food donation for Second Harvest.  Gather together to give thanks!

Tickets are now available for Latkes & Laughs.  Enjoy punchlines from amazing comedians and potato pancakes after we light the Menorah for the first night of Chanukah!   Tickets sold here.

NEW THIS YEAR: We will be offering child care for kids ages 2-12 during Latkes & Laughs.  Light the Chanukiah as a family before the show starts, then enjoy the comedy show kid-free! Dinner will not be provided for child care, but latkes will be available for sale.  25/child and $20/additional child.   Sign ups for child care close November 30.  Space is limited.  Contact Megan at [email protected] or 408-292-0939 to reserve your spot.

The Tea and Torah program includes study of the week's Torah portion over tea and noshes.  Utilized are commentaries reflecting a variety of perspectives, including URJ's Torah: A Women's Commentary.  Open and welcome to all who would like to learn about the history, thought process, and fast evolving freedom of expression, from a contemporary Reform Judaism approach.
