Dear Residents,

I am concerned about a scam targeting Saddlebrook residents.  My office has received calls from two families in Saddlebrook who have been contacted by
people posing as law enforcement.  The caller is convincing and scares residents into thinking their grandchildren are in trouble with the law.  They try to get you to wire money.  In this case as much as $2000.  If this happens to you, please take the information and contact your local police station. Although they sound legitimate, it is a scam.

It upsets me to see how these unscrupulous people are preying on our residents.   Click here for a link to some of the most popular scams.

There are a lot of new residents who may not receive my e-newsletter, and I need your help in passing along this information. People can sign up by going to fremonttownship.com or they can email me directly at [email protected].

If you need to contact me, please call the office at 847 223-2847 or my cell at 847 833-1019.
