Legislative Oversight of ComEd Delayed Until 2019 in Illinois States all over the US are holding hearings on smart meters at their PUCs. All of the PUCs have the same verdict in each state...that smart meters are not a risk to human heath, don't over charge, are not a fire risk and don't invade privacy. All the CPUCs in each state also have conflicts of interest amongst their commissioners. Let's start with my golden state:
