November 2015
Note From Oscar:
Greetings,
November is the month traditionally known for giving thanks.  It's a great time to reflect upon the goodness in our life.  This can take the form of health, family, pets, friendships, the list is endless.  While we commemorate this through the consumption of turkey, it is important to be mindful of our blessings on a daily basis.  Last week, throughout many cities, we joined in festivities to honor our Veterans, the true unsung heroes of our nation.  The thousands of men and women who served and those who are actively serving in our military deserve recognition and thanks for their contributions to defend our freedom.  Further, as we enter the holiday season, I encourage you to participate in the various food drives occurring in our communities.  Giving to others, particularly to those in need often include veterans.  Your donations foster goodwill among the community which ultimately nourishes our collective mind and body.  May you have a happy and nurturing Thanksgiving holiday.
