Award Winner!  Bartram's Boxes Remix publication awarded 2nd place by 2015 Museum Publications Design Competition
 
Out o a f ield of almost 40 0 museums throughout the world, The Center for Art in Wood's publication for the Bartram Boxes Remix 
exhibition was awarded 2nd place in the Exhibition Catalog category of the 2015 Museum Publications Design Competition among entrants with an operating budget of $750,000 or more. Other Philadelphia area insititutions who placed in the competition are The Barnes Foundation [also 2nd place] and the National Museum of American Jewish History [Honorable Mention]. 
Designed by Dan Saal of StudioSaal Corporation, this marks the second time in just six years that The Center has placed 2nd in the competition--the last time being 2009 for the Challenge VII: dysFUNctional exhibit catalog--and it is the third time overall a publication has received a competitive publication award, with the Turning to Art in Wood portfolio receiving a bronze medal in the Fine Art category of the 2012 Independent Publisher Book Awards. All these award winning books were designed by Mr. Saal.
