The Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the appointment of Vince Tedesco, as interim Executive Director of Community Living Peterborough, effective January 11, 2016.
 
Vince's public service career spans over 38 years and he has held numerous leadership positions in both government and in the not-for-profit sector. Vince has a great deal of experience in managing and delivering social services, including developmental services and children's mental health.

Most recently, Vince has served as the interim Executive Director of Sunbeam Centre, a large multi-service organization in Waterloo region that provides a residential, day and respite services for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Sunbeam Centre provides a wide array of community support services including service coordination, case management and clinical services for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities.
 
Vince was also the former Regional Director of Central West Region for MCSS and MCYS where he provided leadership to a number of key government transformation initiatives. Vince has earned the respect of his colleagues and other community partners for his commitment to service excellence and to valuing staff.
 
Vince will be providing leadership to the day to day operations of Community Living Peterborough but will also provide the Board his advice and insight into ways to strengthen the organization and embrace future opportunities.
 
I know that Vince is very much looking forward to learning about our programs and meeting the staff, and people we support in the days and weeks ahead.
