Meet Pam

Pam has been working with Tellington TTouch for twenty years, is one of our Advanced Practitioners and qualified to teach three-day Introductory Workshops as part of the Certification Program. For many years she has assisted and co-taught with all of the Instructors who have led the Rockville MD. trainings, of which she is the organiser.

Her academic background includes a degree in Special Education, which explains her teaching skills. She's a woman of many talents, though, and even gained a reputation as a creative decorative painter and contractor! She has continued her education by taking classes on training, behavior, diet and other health and healing modalities including Craniosacral work and of course TTouch...

What she says about herself:

"We always had animals when I was growing up in Connecticut and they were my best friends and favorite playmates. We rescued and released wildlife and I had a pair of pet crows we had hand raised.  I spent my childhood training, grooming and playing with our family dogs. I loved practicing obedience training and teaching them tricks. I have always been fascinated with problem solving, observing and interacting with animals and new ways to influence behavior that encourage trust and mutual respect.

One day I was given Linda's book, The Tellington TTouch: A Breakthrough Technique to Train and Care For Your Favorite Animal. I was excited by the possibilities of this approach. I decided to go to see Linda at a demonstration being hosted by the American Humane Society's annual conference in Baltimore that same year. After her presentation I wanted to know so much more so I enrolled to become a TTouch Practitioner.

I've learned that TTouch affects the body, mind, emotions, balance, learning, self-confidence, impulse control and touch sensitivity which in turn effects changes in stress levels, learning, behavior and overall health.  Looking at the whole animal, TTouch has made connections and solutions that I have not seen anywhere else, and I look forward to sharing this method with you."

Pam
