What kind of tea did the American colonists want? Liberty.

Join us this Sunday for Traditional Worship at 9:30am or Informal Worship at 11:00am where our scripture texts will be Psalm 48 and Mark 6:1-13 with a sermon entitled Shake Off the Dust. Jesus and the disciples aren't welcome everywhere they go. Jesus encourages them not to get stuck or blocked by obstacles others place in their way. He buoys them up so they can move on and keep on!

We will share in the sacrament of communion at our open table at both services. We will celebrate the 4th of July Weekend by singing O Beautiful for Spacious Skies at the Traditional Service.

Join a Socially-Conscious Musical Tour

July 24-August 3, 2015, the All In Music Project and Tour will be travelling from St. Louis to Washington, DC with stops in Nashville, Atlanta, and Raleigh under the leadership of Eden Seminarian and local pastor Eric Moeller. We're currently seeking artists, musicians, and vocalists (regardless of skill level) interested in participating in this inspiring and dynamic opportunity to share your gifts and inspire social transformation!

Participants will spend time with local grassroots organizations in each city, creating connections in support of the communities they serve. Faith-based music with themes of liberation, social justice, and the transformation of the world will be performed by the participants in local congregations, and public shows collaborated with reputable local bands are set for evening venues.

Tour participation provides the opportunity for spiritual growth, engagement in a collaborative social justice project, a deeper understanding of contemporary human rights issues, and an unforgettable travel experience. An all-inclusive participation fee applies, and covers transport, accommodation, food, and other travel expenses.

If you are currently searching for a way to showcase your passion and connect to the larger human community in a positive and inspiring way, contact Project Director Pastor Eric Moeller at 928.607.6560 or [email protected] for more information. Also consider following the tour on Facebook and more info can be found there as well.

Inspiration

Religious freedom opens a door for Americans that is closed to too many others around the world. But whether we walk through that door, and what we do with our lives after we do, is up to us.  ~Mitt Romney
