Greetings, Epic Racers of 2015!
Halloo Earthlings and Epic Registrants (or both) -

We received a giddy note from Beaver Run Resort yesterday letting us know that our reserved block of rooms, suites and condos was filling up faster than anticipated. While that's GREAT news, it also sent a few alarm bells ringing on our end. We want to make sure that everyone who WANTS to stay near the venue, GETS to stay near the venue.

So consider this brief email a gentle reminder to give Beaver Run a call to reserve your lodging. Why? Let me tell you why, friend.
  • Because their rates are incredibly generous.
  • Because their selection of offerings ranges from hotel rooms to 4-bedroom condos.
  • Because most offer kitchens so you can cook meals on site.
  • Because all morning gear dropoffs and evening meetings are taking place there (as is the final banquet for each race).
  • Hate port-o-crappers? Me too. Think about how swank it would be to have your own loo within hilarious "I'm gonna poop in my pants!" hobbling distance. With the added bonuses of being able to strip completely naked while making your twosie (possibly that's just me), the ability to play on your phone, read your Kindle app, not stew in another racer's miasmic stench and just generally enjoy the experience like a civilized human being.
  • Massage services are also on-site - you can book through Beaver Run's spa.
  • And then there are the on-site restaurants.
  • Plus the bar with all of the microbrews on tap.
  • Laundry facilities on site.
  • Lastly? Two swimming pools. Plus 6 party-size hot tubs. And Outdoor fire pits and an on-site spa (mention Epic for 20% off all massage and spa services.)
  • To sum up: Dang.
  • Right?
So think about giving them a call. You can find all of the details on the Breck Epic  lodging page or you can visit Beaver Run's Epic Group Info page (use [email protected] as the username, then 6178 as the password.)

Or you can pick up the phone and let your fingers do the walking (not THAT way, Rich and Tim): 1-800-265-3560. Make sure to mention the Epic to receive our special rates.

PS - If you're in CO and not doing anything on May 16-17, think about joining us in Eagle for the Eagle Outside Festival and Firebird 40 XC. The pointy end of that event (the race) is INSANELY awesome this year. It should be, we've been wrestling with federal land management agencies for the past three years to make it that way. Plus there's a free consumer demo all weekend long with all of the best brands in the bike biz. Sign up, foo.
