The Annual Used Book Exchange is
     THIS WEEK!  
Book Exchange: Nov. 16th-19th
 
Beginning on Monday, s tudents can "spend" their credits to "buy" books at the exchange. (Monday is a credit only day!) Tuesday through Thursday students can either spend any unused credits or pay cash for books. (Most books are only 25 cents!)
 
All proceeds will be used to add new books to classrooms and the school library. All unused books will be donated to local children's charities.

Make your Voice Heard!
Tuesday, November 17th from 8:15am - 9:15am in the MUR.  


Make your suggestions and ideas for our school heard at one the four Community Forums, where we will discuss the Del Mar Union School District facilities and plans for future improvement. Please take the time to review the Facilities Master Plan that provides a comprehensive list of  planned projects. The plan identifies the cost and prioritization of these projects as well as illustrates the Facility Master Plan process and implementation goals.

If Tuesday November 17th at 8:15am doesn't work, please make sure to make one of the other 3 Community Forum days/times.

Heights Cares' Recycling Program Needs You!

Are you into recycling or compositing or just generally interested in making better use of the resources on our planet?  Then we need you! Heights Cares is looking for a person to help with implementing a school-wide recycling program. Please contact Jazmin Blais f or details.
Music Lessons

I s your child interested in receiving free music lessons from qualified high school mentors? The Students' Association for Young Artists's (SAYA) Carmel Valley branch is starting its season!   SAYA is an organization dedicated to offering students in grades 3rd through 8th free weekly lessons for wind and string instruments. Saya's high school mentors have the skill and enthusiasm to prolong your child's musical education. For more information and registration, visit  www.studentsaya.org .
