At Areyvut, our mission is to make the world a better place by engaging the Jewish community in acts of kindness. We want to help make you and your families feel stronger and healthier so that you can continue to make positive changes within your communities.
With our "A Kindness a Day" Calendar, you will have the opportunity to be kind... 365 days a year! This calendar has a suggestion of an act of chesed (kindness) to do every day of the year. Each act of chesed is connected to a source from the Torah that explains where that action is inspired from.
This calendar is a truly a unique product that is educational, engaging, meaningful and fun!
Last week, Areyvut attended the URJ Biennial at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. We met with educators, Rabbis, cantors, and community members who were all interested in discussing the future of the Jewish people and Jewish culture.
At our exhibit, we spoke with attendees about everything Areyvut has to offer. From Mitzvah Clowning to National Mitzvah Day to our A Kindness a Day Calendar and more, we spoke with participants about how Areyvut can work with them to make a difference in the world.
In addition to sharing Areyvut's programs, we heard amazing performances from Jewish acapella group 613, attended an evening plenary with guest speaker Michael Douglas and were present for various resolutions and business items that were voted on during the conference.
We had a great time and look forward to attending the next URJ Biennial in 2017!

chesed (kindness),
tzedakah (charity), and
tikkun olam (social action), so that they become thoughtful, giving members of the Jewish community of tomorrow.
We offer day schools, congregational schools, synagogues, community centers and individual families with a variety of opportunities to help them make these core values real and meaningful to their children.
