St. Patrick's Day

Tuesday, March 17 is St. Patrick's Day and it is also a regularly scheduled day of classes at King's. All classes, and exams, are running as scheduled on March 17. All students, and members of the King's community, are expected to be mindful of King's, Western and London community standards and regulations while enjoying St. Patrick's Day festivities. As a community, we take care of each other, show good citizenship, obey laws and have fun in a safe manner. If you have any concerns about safety please contact King's Security at 519-521-6215.

Nominations for the King's University College Award for Excellence in Teaching Deadline: April 30, 2015.

Would you like to nominate a professor who brought the course work "alive", changed your way of thinking or inspired you? The King's University College Award for Excellence in Teaching recognizes professors who excel in classroom instruction, academic counselling, tutoring and advising of students, course design, curriculum development, preparation of educational materials and integrate innovative teaching methods in their courses.

 

If you would like to recognize a King's faculty member, please send a letter of nomination including  reasons why you feel this faculty member is deserving of the award to Marilyn Mason, Vice-Principal, Enrolment Services and Strategic Partnerships at mmason@uwo.ca by April 30, 2015.

Intent to Register Info Sessions March 23-27

All returning King's students must submit an Intent to Register online by March 31 to declare their degree and module choices for the following academic year.
 

  1. Attend Academic Dean's Office and departmental information sessions, as well as sessions by the Faculties of Law and Education.These sessions will help you choose your program(s). Schedules are posted on the King's website and available at the Academic Dean's Office and Enrolment Services at King's.
  2. Read the Academic Calendar to understand your program and course requirements.
  3. Gather information about your degree and program. See: Degree Check 101 and program checklists.
  4. Meet full-time faculty members during their office hours to discuss courses of interest and to make informed choices in selecting your program and courses for next year.
