After twenty seven years at our current location, Berenson is moving!

Thanks to our long standing l0yal customers, and a growing number of new clients, Berenson continues to grow rapidly. Accordingly,like the plant that outgrows the pot, we needed to find a larger space to house our growing inventory requirements and expanding product lines.

We will be closed on Friday, May 9th and will reopen on May 12th, in our new location at Unit 1, 321 Hanlan Road in Woodbridge. For those who are adverse to change, take heart in the fact that we are only moving a few hundred meters from our present location. However, it will be light years from the old Berenson. We will be doubling our warehouse space but more importantly, will increase the size of our showroom by approximately five times!

We are busily working with designers on creating a more dynamic atmosphere that will provide a beautiful showcase for all of the Berenson offerings, while featuring an improved shopping experience. This exciting state-of-the-art space will enable us to conduct lunch and learns, product training seminars, and other showcase style events to help you learn more about our products and services. Principal, Denis Staples, states, " Business has been good in recent years due to continued strong housing starts, sparked by exceptionally low interest rates. That's particularly true in the nation's capital, Deslaurier's core market. "It's a government town," explains Staples. "So activity is fairly constant." That said, competition has been tough in recent years. The strong Canadian dollar has hampered exports and forced local producers to make do with the domestic market. As a result, Deslaurier has had to constantly do more to stay ahead. Product quality is also crucial." says Staples. "We are always under pressure to reduce prices. But we never cut corners by using sub-par materials."
