Southwest York Region facility pioneers new era of technology adoption in healthcare  

Healthcare innovation in Ontario recently reached a major milestone with the launch of the second phase of a new hospital unit devoted fully to integrating disruptive technologies into Ontario's healthcare system. The project was a collaboration between Mackenzie Health, BlackBerry, Cisco Canada and ThoughtWire which was supported by the AdvancingHealth program, managed by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE). 
 
OCE launches Smart Computing R&D Challenge

More than 150 representatives from industry, academia and government attended a special forum hosted by OCE on June 24. The event marked the launch of OCE's Smart Computing R&D Challenge under the Collaboration Voucher program, which is funded by the Ontario government.
