THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING WALLACE STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE!

WSCC'S HONOR CODE - MAKE THE PLEDGE

Wallace State's Honor Code sets Wallace State apart from other community colleges and places the college in elite company with many other of the nation's most revered institutions of higher education by asking students and employees to voluntarily commit to upholding standards of trust, compassion, and mutual respect. By encouraging everyone to be mindful of others, it promotes a safe environment for learning and personal and professional growth.

Click HERE to view the Honor Code and add your name to the pledge.

Please note signing the Honor Code is a symbolic, voluntary act. It complements our formal obligations outlined in the Student and Personnel Handbooks.

The Honor Code was adopted by the WSCC Student Government Association and approved by the WSCC Honor Code Committee and President's Cabinet in Spring 2015.

BEST CURB APPEAL

The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Wallace State with the Community Improvement Award for Best Curb Appeal.

The Wallace State Plant Operations and Agribusiness Landscaping teams work hard in their efforts to make our campus beautiful and are very deserving of the recognition. Please congratulate them as you see them hard at work around campus!

FREE SCREENING & Q&A WITH FILMMAKER

The Evelyn Burrow Museum will offer a free screening of the documentary "1971", which tells the story of eight ordinary people who broke into a FBI office in Media, Penn., in 1971 and uncovered evidence of illegal actions by the FBI, including spying and intimidation of Americans exercising their First Amendment rights.

The movie will be shown on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m., in the Recital Hall of the Burrow Center for Fine and Performing Arts. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Filmmaker Johanna Hamilton will be on hand to discuss the film. Visit www.1971film.com for more information about the movie, the subjects in the film and the filmmakers.
