WORLD REPORT ON AGEING AND HEALTH
World Health Organization

People are living on average 20 years longer than 50 years ago. The World Report on Ageing and Health outlines a framework for action to foster Healthy Ageing which will enable older people to continue participating in and contributing to society.

What is needed for healthy aging:
  • A change in the way we think about aging
  • Creation of age-friendly environments
  • Alignment of health systems to the needs of older people
  • Development of systems for long-term care
The website contains some very useful resources including the report, executive summary and a great infographic.
DIGITAL NEWSLETTER OPTIONS
Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council

Many non-profit organizations are transitioning their print newsletters to digital versions. Making the switch takes a bit of effort but you won't regret the decision when you see the results.

Read the Digital Newsletter Options tip sheet to learn about factors to consider and some free/low cost options.
