Father Bill Small at St. John's for March

Father Bill Small and his wife Darleen are with us for the month of March.  You will enjoy getting to know them!

Confirmation/Reception/Refresher Class

Father Bill Small is leading a class for those of us who want to be confirmed or received into the Episcopal church.  There are about 14 of us taking the course, one now and one in the Spring/Summer when our seasonal folks return.  When Bishop Ely visits this August, he will formally receive and confirm the people who have completed the course.  We have begun our course with a daily spiritual note from Father Small and daily meditations from the Society of Saint John the Evangelist and Richard Rohr.  It has been a great way to observe Lent.  There will be classes after church/coffee hour on March 8, March 15 and March 22.  All are welcome to join.

Improving our Appearance

This is a good year for us to spruce things up since we do not have a rector's salary.  We have completed the renovation of Persell Hall and it looks great!  The office renovation will start soon.  We replaced some of our older prayer books.  Next on the list is to replace hymnals and to get some new vestments for the priest.  If any of you would like to donate a hymnal or some vestments in honor of loved ones, please let us know.
