We had a great St. Patrick's Day luncheon after church with ham, corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, cookies and lemon tarts. Thanks to all who made this such a great event.

Search Update
Our search for a new Rector continues. We have tossed out multiple nets: our opening is listed on the national church's Episcopal News Service website; our opening is listed on the Diocese of Albany website; we have placed an advertisement in 6 recent issues of Living Church magazine. Our Search Committee continues to coordinate the process with the Transition Minister at the Diocese of Albany.
We know that a search for a new Rector can take at least a year and and we also know that part of our challenge is identifying and attracting a rector who would be comfortable and effective leading a parish with mutually acknowledged divergent theological points of view from our canonical Diocese. We are prayerfully hopeful that our DEPO relationship with the Diocese of Vermont can help bridge that gap, facilitate our arriving at a mutually happy search outcome, and contribute towards long term reconciliation with the Diocese of Albany.
It is heartening to see St.John's continuing to demonstrate such robust energy and lively spirit as we move through this period of transition. We ask that you all continue to pray for the success of our search committee.
