Letter From the Administration
Dear Saint Theresa parents,

We have had an excellent start to the school year despite this unprecedented heat.  The students and faculty have risen to the occasion and we appreciate the great attitudes even with classroom temperatures hovering in the 90's.  We hope that today will be our last heat-related early dismissal for the fall!

I just have a couple of items to highlight this week:

1)  Our parking and pick-up situation has been difficult recently due to the paving and painting of the church parking lot. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused. Going forward we need ALL parents to adhere to these basic procedures FOR THE SAFETY of all our students:

*** PLEASE DO NOT PARK on the house side of Rosemond Terrace. This creates congestion and is not respectful of our neighbors. Also, please do not park in the drop off/ fire lane in the afternoon. (This will soon be painted yellow as a reminder to all.) Pull into a marked parking space and come in to get your child.

*** PLEASE SLOW DOWN to a crawl in our parking lot, both at drop-offand pick-up times. If you think you are driving slowly, SLOW DOWN even more. And please, move on after your child leaves your car. There is really no need to watch them walk all the way in, and this will help traffic to flow more smoothly.

2)  There was an oversight in the process of revising our 2015-2016 Handbook.
Contrary to what is printed on page 5, we no longer have an assessment program in place. Please disregard this section.

3)   Finally, please let the office know if you did not receive an "Alert" from the
school regarding the two Early Dismissals.  We want to be sure that you are in the system for future "emergency" notifications.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night on September 21st, if not before!

Best,
Kerry Stratton
