Meeting Description: So you survived another tax season but there were a few tough issues you’d like to learn more about. The discussion will get started with these hot topics:  (1) how to handle identity theft, (2) lessons learned from ACA, (3) stock awards and missing basis, and (4) tough ethical situations. After that our panel of experts will answer all your tax season questions!

Emily Aprea, EAEmily Aprea has over 24 years experience in tax preparation, including 16 years as an Enrolled Agent licensed by the Internal Revenue Service to represent clients before all IRS administrative levels for audits, collections, and appeals.  She is currently a self-employed tax practitioner in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Ed Ryan, EA - Ryan Financial is a tax and accounting practice and financial services firm focusing on individuals and small business owners with locations in Rutherford and Union, NJ and Middleton, NY. He is an Enrolled Agent, a Registered Investment Advisor, and holds series 6, 62, 63 and 65 licenses as well as life, health, property and casualty and variable insurance licenses. Ed has also been a Director of the NJSEA since 2012. 

David Tolleth, EA - David Tolleth is a financial advisor, tax accountant, and an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the Internal Revenue Service to represent clients before all IRS administrative levels for audits, collections, and appeals. He currently serves as President of the New Jersey Society of Enrolled Agents.
