Dear San Marino School Community,
I am beaming with pride as I share with you the California Department of Education's test results released to the public on September 9, 2015. Although the testing format may have changed in 2015
to
a software-based assessment system (CAASPP) from the older paper-based (STAR) testing system, the method by which students and districts are measured remains the same. Districts continue to be measured by the percentage of students meeting and exceeding the standards.
However, this is not our story here in San Marino USD!
Congratulations to the students, teachers, and administrators whose time and efforts led to these incredible results. Thank you to the parents and community members who continue to support this outstanding District.
Our work never ends and our commitment to innovation and student engagement is our ultimate standard.
It's an honor to serve as your superintendent,
Alex Cherniss, Ed.D.
