This Saturday, December 5th, at 8pm The Crossing joins Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture's Takht Ensemble and Dalal Abu Amneh, one of Palestine's most popular singers, in an evening of  world premieres. The concert features world premieres from Arab-American composers Kareem Roustom and Kinan Abou-afach, who take inspiration from Andalusian poetry (muwashshahat ). This has been an extraordinary collaboration and will be a very special evening.

The concert will also feature four popular muwashshahat  from the Levant and North Africa (by composers Rahbani Brothers from Lebanon and Taher Guizani from Tunisia). It is a rare opportunity to hear The Crossing sing in Arabic, collaborating with new friends from Syria, Lebanon, Morrocco, and Palestine. A true example of what we say: Come. Hear. Now.
