Dear Friends of the JWA,
We cannot thank you enough for the support you showed us at the Bazaar Sunday, November 29th. What a day it was! Thank you for joining us and a special heart-felt thank you to
our generous donors, sponsors, suppliers and volunteers; we truly could not have done it without you.
The dappled morning sun cast a glow over the Island School playground as our 250 volunteers gathered to set up their stalls, start cooking, and unpack and display more than 1000 cartons of donated goods - yes, you read that right! 1000 cartons of cutting edge homewares, designers clothing and hot-selling toys, among other things. Not to mention the delicious food stalls and undoubtedly the best falafel in Hong Kong.
Eager shoppers with a keen eye for a bargain lined the pavement outside Island School from
8 am, shopping bags at the ready, excitedly waiting for the gates to open, and they were not disappointed. Approximately 1400 adults visitors walked through the gates that day, and it is thanks to the tremendously supportive crowd that we raised upwards of HK$500,000 at the Bazaar this year! The funds raised will truly go a long way to supporting and continuing the charitable programs we are committed to supporting in Israel and Hong Kong in 2016.
Finally, a special thank you to
our friends and

A special thank you must be extended to Elsa School Bazaar Committee for managing the Kids' Kingdom and Book Stall.
Last but not least, we must thank our amazing Bazaar Team: Raz Alcobi, Sarit Azrielivich, Yael Bronner, Natalie Lever, Sharon Magnagi, Hagit Razon, Aviva Shabat, and Amy Tadelis, led by Irit Balas Rozner and Shani Brownstein.
Thank you again and see you next year,
Shani and Marissa
