There are many ways to support SMILE Mass this November!

Just like you, we at SMILE Mass, truly enjoy November. The beauty of New England and the ever-changing colors never gets old, combined with the sudden heat waves - what's not to love? So as I lace up for just
that one more run in the beautiful weather, SMILE Mass is always with me.

As many of you may know, SMILE Mass is in full swing embarking on our biggest project as of yet; buying a property on Cape Cod and turning it into a fully handicapped accessible vacation rental, making vacation accessible to all, despite disability. We believe with a little luck and a lot of hard work we could make this reality happen in the summer of 2016! We are planning to build in three phases.

Phase One would be to buy the house outright and start the renovations on the main house. Phase Two would be to make all the common space through out the resort accessible both in and outside, with not only ample parking, but also walkways, a playground, a pool and so much more. Phase Three will be to transform the wetland area (approx. 10 acres) into a beautiful sanctuary with raised walkways through out, allowing for walking, biking, exploring and just enjoying the outdoors. If at all possible a handicapped accessible tree house will be added.  Although we are dreaming big, we have no doubt that this will become a reality.

To make this property happen we will not only be seeking out pro-bono work, but also monetary donations. Please consider sponsoring SMILE Mass with your time, talent or money. Thank you for continuing to believe in us and our mission. Without you we are nothing, with you we are everything.

Adopt a Hydrant

Due to the overwhelming success of last years Adopt a hydrant program, SMILE Mass is doing it again!

We think it is safe to say that no one wants a repeat of last winter's record snow fall, well maybe the kids do.  In order to be pro-active, SMILE Mass is starting the Adopt a hydrant program before the first snow falls.  Simply click here to fill out the form. Once the form is received, a certificate will be on its way for you to proudly display.

Furthermore, SMILE Mass is proud to announce that The Nassa Family has once again decided to sponsor the SMILE Mass Adopt-a-hydrant program with a $10 donation for each hydrant adopted (up to $1000) by December 31, 2015.

At the end of the winter, SMILE Mass will again host a pizza party for everyone that participated.  As always, we would love to receive before and after pictures to be used on our Facebook page, website, the local newspaper, etc.  Please send pictures to [email protected].  If you have any questions about this program, please do NOT call the fire department, call SMILE Mass directly at 617-967-7755.
