Welcome to the Elle Foundation's Memories of Joy Newsletter
|
Welcome to the winter issue of One Elle of a Newsletter - the Elle Foundation's quarterly ePublication that is your source for information on the Foundation, Elle's Kids and our events.
As the Thanksgiving and Holiday seasons draw near, we hope you will join us in remembering Lauren's life and legacy with a the gift of a wish, a moment of joy, for those children battling a recurrence of cancer. You can truly touch the life of one of these children by becoming one of Elle's family of supporters and ambassadors.
Through past support, we have been able to grant 23 wishes.
With Lauren & All of Elle's Kids in Our Hearts,
Laurie Richmond
President & Chairman

Meet Elle's Most Recent Wish Kid |
Lila May - One Elle of a Disney Princess
Lila May's wish to visit the Aulani Resort on the island of Oahu. A resident of Oregon, Lila May wanted to spend time in the sunshine, play in the sand, and swim in the "Hawaiian Ocean" with her mommy & daddy. Lila
battled Neuroblastoma from
the age of two.
|
Meet Elle's Newest Wish Kid |
Luke - One Elle of a Guitar Player
Luke, a huge Jimmy Page fan, is wishing for a Gibson Les Paul Standard Guitar. The best part of Luke's wish is to travel to Nashville and tour the Custom Shop so that he can meet the people that make the guitars and experience watching how his favorite guitars are created.
Luke, age 16, was diagnosed with
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at age 3, and was in remission after treatment, unfortunately, his cancer returned at age 11.
With your donation, we can grant Luke's awesome wish and create memories that Luke & all of ELLE's Kids will treasure forever.
