      "6 Rms Riv Vu" by Bob Randall takes it's title from the shorthand used by real estate agents in classified advertising.  Jerry Orbach and Jane Alexander created the roles on Broadway in this urban romantic comedy set in a vacant 6-room apartment with a view of the Hudson River, located on Manhattan's Riverside Drive.  The unit is open for inspection by prospective tenants, and among them are a man, Paul Friedman, a married advertising copywriter and Anne Miller, an overly contented housewife.  They are the last to leave, when they find out the door is accidentally locked, trapping them inside with time to realize a mutual attraction, as they wait out the long night ahead.
