2015 Alumni/ae Reunion 

 

Honors Classes   

New Brunswick Theological Seminary invites graduates, spouses and widows of the honor Alumni classes that are marking the 60th, 50th, 40th, 30th, 25th, 20th, 10th and 5th anniversary of your graduation from New Brunswick Theological Seminary!

 

If you are a member of the Class of 1955, 1965, 1975, 1985, 1990, 1990, 2005 or 2010, the Seminary would like to help you mark this occasion in a special way. Come and reconnect with old friends and recapture the spirit of your NBTS experience! Save the dates and make plans to attend the
2015 Alumni/ae Reunion during Commencement Weekend, Friday, May 22nd, and Saturday, May 23rd.

All Alumni are invited on Friday for the Baccalaureate Service and Receptions. If you would like to help impact the lives of our graduates, please consider volunteering for the Baccalaureate Reception. Marette Tyree, (2008)
was ordained into the ministry at Second Baptist Church of Roselle, NJ on Sunday December 14, 2014. This was an appointment made by my senior pastor, Rev. James E. Moore, Sr.  
Her assignments will include helping to train the other ministers on Baptist polity and policies. In addition to this, Marette and her husband, Pastor William Michael E. Tyree are expecting their 3rd baby girl, due to arrive in February of 2015.
   
Please welcome Barbara Felker, (2012) to the NBTS Board of Trustees. Barbara comes to the Board with over 15 years experience in diverse industries that include strategic planning, human resources management, labor relations and legislation.


En Young Kim, (2014)
is also a new member to the NBTS Board of Trustees. En Young is the Supervisor of RCA Mission in Asia and the Pacific and Coordinator for Pacific and Asian American Ministries.

Giving Thanks for the Lives Lived in Our Midst
With great sympathy, we share that The Rev. James E. Vincent, (1959) passed peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014. After graduating from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, Jim was a pastor for more than 40 years, serving the Reformed Church in America. He served three congregations: Stanton Reformed Church in New Jersey, a church extension (building from the ground up), Danboro Reformed Church near Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and Warwick Reformed Church in New York.


   

Condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Henry Christian Kreutzer, Jr., (1947). Henry passed away on January 6, 2015. Click here for the full obituary.

On Thursday, January 14, 2015 The Rev. John P. Muilenburg, (1936), passed away at the age of 103. John's memorial service will be held on February 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Penney Memorial Church, Penney Farms, Florida.  He was "A remarkable man with a remarkable career and faith and the oldest living alumnus of NBTS-  may God hold him close".  - President Gregg Mast.
