Heart-2-Heart is published on the First Friday of each month by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We offer this as our gift to you with the hopes that our story and the spirituality of the Sacred Heart will touch your heart as you strive to live the Gospel in your daily life.  
Remembering Mother Clelia
       Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus celebrated last month as news came from the Vatican that the theological commission evaluating the life and virtue of Mother Clelia officially recommended her cause to the Congregation of the Saints. We now await the Holy Father's signature of the degree of heroic virtue that proclaims her as Venerable. Apostles worldwide join our prayers of gratitude to God for this gift. We also remember the life and legacy Mother Clelia has given to her daughters and to the Church as we celebrate the anniversary of her death on November 21. May her life of humility and dedication to the Church inspire each of us to grow in holiness.
 
Praying for the Dead 
                Clelia experienced profound loss at an early  age with the deaths of her mother, grandmother and step-mother. There is  no doubt that these moments of sorrow and loss drew her closer to the Sacred Hea rt of Jesus. Throughout the  month of November, the Church draws our attention to pr aying for the dead with the Solemnities of A ll Saints and All Souls. This month, we renew our everyday practice of praying for the dead with greater solemnity and intentionality. The Sisters will remember your deceased loved ones at prayer and during the Eucharistic Celebration.  The names of your  deceased will also be placed on our altar at the Mount Sacred Heart Chapel and remembered in our daily prayer. It is through our prayers that we will all be united on earth and in heaven.
What are some ways you can remember the deceased?  With a prayer enrollment, by sharing a prayer intention or remembering a deceased Apostle.
