  Challenge Met On May 16th!

 
                                           
Our third annual ADM Recovery Challenge 5K was a record breaker, with 406 registered participants and 130 registered volunteers. It was our biggest Recovery Challenge yet!

We are very proud to share that the Region 2 National Association of Social Workers recognized two deserving employees within the ADM system on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

 

Karin Lopper-Orr, LISW-S, Executive Director of Blick Clinic  recieved the Lifetime Achievement Award for her work and dedication.

 

Beth Kuckuck, LISW-S, County of Summit ADM Board Children's Program Coordinator, recieved the Social Worker of the Year Award.

  AMSR Training scheduled or Monday, June 29th.
 
                                      

  

The Summit County Suicide Prevention Coalition will be sponsoring a workshop entitled: "Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk: Core Competencies for Mental Health Professionals" on Monday, June 29th from 8:30am until 5:00pm.

 

AMSR aims to build confidence and competence in assessing and managing suicide risk and targets behavioral health providers. The course includes exercises, journaling, discussion and participants will be provided with a 110-page manual with additional resources.

  ADM Board of Directors Seeks Applicants for Vacancies
                                  


 

The ADM Board is accepting applications for two Board of Directors vacancies. One vacancy is for a professional in the field of alcohol or drug addiction services with a minimum of two years experience working with those receiving alcohol and drug addiction treatment. The second vacancy is for a person who has received or is receiving mental health services.

 

Eligible candidates must be residents of Summit County and will be required to attend monthly meetings. Additional information and an application is available here.
